There is no wrong way to use Stonefire flatbreads. Marinara sauce, pesto, olive oil, marscpone cheese and brie are just a few of the bases you can use on your flatbreads. This would be a fun family meal to make as well as each person can have their own naan to create their own masterpiece of flavors. They are only 120 calories a serving with no artificial flavors and preservatives. Flame baked and perfect with hummus, your favorite dips, cheese or just out of the bag. Stonefire also makes a variety of crisps that come in such flavors as Everything, Parmesan Garlic, Tandoori, and Original naan. Bubbly melted cheese with a hint of tang from the BBQ sauce and sweet red onions. Bake it for 8 minutes or so at 400 degrees. Knowing I had some grilled chicken from the night before, I played with the garlic Stonefire Naan adding the chicken, red onions, red peppers and a light layer of BBQ sauce on a flatbread and then covered in mozzarella cheese. The first recipe I wanted to make was for a late night dinner. Put it under the broiler for just a few minutes and voila! I cut it into small triangles and served it with Prosecco cocktails. Brush the naan or pizza crust with a thin layer of roasted garlic, fresh chopped basil, drizzle some olive oil and then top with a variety of white cheeses like fontina, mozzarella and parmesan. Here’s an example of a very simple but layered with flavor flatbread appetizer. Delicious! (and with very little effort). The opportunities are endless when it comes to the add-ons from vegetables to unique cheeses to meats or switching from savory to sweet, doing thinly sliced green apples, brie and honey on a flatbread. This seems to be quite advantageous when you have friends that pop over for a catch up visit and you want to offer a little snack along with your cocktails. They are fully baked and ready for you to add your favorite toppings or ingredients. You will find original, whole wheat and garlic varieties. Remove cast iron from the fire and top with chopped basil. ![]() Place on a grate over the campfire for 5-7 minutes or until tomatoes start to blister. Place halved cherry tomatoes and a pinch of salt on and surrounding the brie. Add wheel of brie to the middle of the skillet. Stonefire Flatbreads come in a number of different sizes allowing you to create appetizers, pizzas and sandwiches. Place 1Tbsp olive oil in cast iron skillet. So, when Stonefire sent me some of their naan, flatbreads and crisps, I was excited to play around with the components. Following them sometimes, improvising most of the time - especially if I don’t have the specific ingredients the recipe calls for. I love to cook and tend to be more inventive when it comes to recipes. Lots of running in and out of the house without much time to plan for a meal. No matter the time of year, life can be really busy. ![]()
